Are you looking for some new classroom organizational tips for your classroom? I'm Fern from Fern Smith's Classroom Ideas and I'm guest blogging today at Jenny's Crayon Collection blog. Today I'm sharing tips and ideas to help you, the teacher, gain more instructional time by having tried and true crayon organization tips and pencil organizational tips for your classroom.
Crayons..... Love the 8 pack or love the 64 pack, if you are a primary teacher, YOU.WILL.ALWAYS.NEED.THEM! First thing first, get rid of the box, 8? 16? 24? 64? There is nothing worse for a new teacher {or even a teacher with YEARS of experience} to bring their class late to lunch and then back up the ENTIRE SCHOOL. How to NOT win friends and influence people! The pain I get from watching a student try to put their new crayons BACK into the box is like cafeteria sporks being shoved under my eye lids. I get it, the crayons are new, I like to keep my crayons neat and tidy too. I like my crayons in rainbow order in the box, but when we only get 22 minutes for lunch, I'm not allowed to play with my crayons!
I also have a FREE adorable Australian Animals Coloring eBook for you!
