I have a post about the Crayola Experience, but this time it was overtaken by Kubota Machines. They called it Machine Adventures by Kubota. They had Kubota activities throughout the location.\u0026nbsp; Machine Adventures at Crayola Experience featured many hands on experiences, coloring activities and lots of Photo Ops with the actual equipment and themed scenes. One of the machines was down, but I was still able to get a custom wrapper. The Crayola Factory was started in 1996. It was established as a place for fans and kids to visit Crayola in the Easton, Pennsylvania, the city for the headquarters of Crayola. Personally I wish they still had tours of their facility, but I love visiting the now Crayola Experience. The building the Factory was built in was an old mall that has been renovated to accommodate the play center. There are four floors now. Back in the day there were a lot less exhibits and play areas. The areas included, a Super Sculptures area with Model Magic, a giant Crayola Color Carousel, a Crayola After Dark area where guess painted with light wands on the way to make designs and shadow prints. There was also a cool movies area where kids danced and then it was projected on a giant screen in different colors and patterns. I have been to the Crayola Experience once and remember it being really fun and interactive. This was the same. These activities were definitely outside of the box activities and got the kids to look at the supplies in a new way. When we went to craft days at Michaels sometimes the kids needed \"help\" the whole time ie meaning I did the activity instead of them. That was not so with this kit. In May 2016 Crayola opened a Crayola Experience in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Mall of America. In spring 2018 Crayola will open another Crayola Experience in Plano, Texas at the Shops at Willow Bend. My dream would be to visit all these places. This is not the first attempt to open a color themed park. Crayola Works was opened on June 21, 2002 outside of Baltimore, MD. It closed in 2004. I do not know why it closed, but I think Crayola definitely learned from those experiences because the other locations have been doing so well. Well enough Crayola Experience is expanding all over the country. My sister bought the cups for me earlier and I had no idea how many other colors or items were in the collection. They did not have the whole set. I finished the collection at the Crayola Store in Kansas City. You may be disappointed however by how much history is missing and the fact you can not go on a tour. I really wish they would open a museum close by for the adults. I think the kids would love it too. Hallmark has a museum in downtown Kansas City by the Kaleidoscope activity center. It is chocked full of history and some of Crayola's history. I may post about it one day. I would love for there to be something like this here. I think it would really draw in lots of visitors to city ones that may not necessarily be interested in the kids activities in the Crayola Experience. They could also charge extra to go on a behind the scenes tour at Crayola. \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.futureofflight.org\/tickets\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EI worked Boeing and they do this at their Everett manufacturing center.\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;The tour costs extra but is totally worth it.\u0026nbsp;Many companies also offer the option of watching workers through a window, though I would love a tour more than this option.
