Even with instructions of what to make, all the kids creations come out unique. \u0026nbsp;Model magic is also really good for developing fine motor skills in younger children. \u0026nbsp;The younger kids were better at mixing the colors then the older kids because they loved pressing it together. \u0026nbsp;I much prefer model magic any day over other brands. \u0026nbsp;Model magic is less flaky meaning none of it gets in my carpet and other areas of my house. \u0026nbsp;Model magic can be used in almost any lesson. \u0026nbsp;We used it make dinosaur and insect fossils, to make cars and boats and to make presents for our family. \u0026nbsp;One kid even made a bomb out of it. \u0026nbsp;After it is done being used it can be sealed up to use again or left out to harden. \u0026nbsp;If it is getting a little dry water helps make it more pliable. \u0026nbsp;It does leave a residue when it gets wet, but is easily washed away. Colored pencils can be used filling in, shading or crosshatching. \u0026nbsp;The pressure on the pencil also produces a different result. Fine tip markers are some of my favorite markers to use for every day items, such as lists also. \u0026nbsp;There was a phase in college where I used fine tipped markers for everything.\u0026nbsp;Doodle Scents is a marker sent that was elusive to me last year. \u0026nbsp;Last year Crayola only sold the individual markers in the US and not the 18 count box. \u0026nbsp;I bought two of all the individual markers and a box of them when they came out. \u0026nbsp;I was so excited to find they were being sold in the US this year and for a reasonable price. \u0026nbsp;Except when I found out that Canada has a 25 count box. \u0026nbsp;Now I want to find that one. \u0026nbsp;Then I will have four copies of some of the markers. I first saw these markers in June of 2015 at the Crayola Store in Kansas City. \u0026nbsp;It was the first time I had ever seen them. \u0026nbsp;I made sure I picked up two of each, one to play with and on for the collection. \u0026nbsp;The stand was deceiving however and had two cotton candy's on it. \u0026nbsp;So now I have 4 cotton candy's. \u0026nbsp;Lucky for me pink is my little girls favorite color. I went online to see if I could see more and to my shock I found there was actually a box of doodle scents, but they were not being sold as a box in the United States. \u0026nbsp;I tried to purchase them from Amazon, but Amazon said they could not sell them to my in my geographical area. \u0026nbsp;I did find them in the 2015 Crayola Product catalog, so hopefully later this year they will come out with a box.
