The Mr. Sketch Scented crayons did not disappoint. The crayon come in twistable form. The colors were super vibrant when applied to the paper and the smell was very distinct. I do have to admit when there was more than 3 or 4 colors on the paper the scents started to combine and smell like a bowl full of fruit loops. I especially like the scents, black raspberry, mint and white vanilla icing. The verdict, \u003Cb\u003EMr. Sketch scented crayons are slightly better\u003C\/b\u003E. For the purposes of this study I looked at the 12 count boxes from each company. I received the Crayola Silly Scents from Crayola for review. I bought the Mr Sketch box.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nThe samples from each are above. They were basically the same colors, and almost similar scents.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nI also \u0026nbsp;made a YouTube video showing the Mr Sketch vs Crayola Silly Scents showdown.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Ciframe allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CYSW1eKX4k4\" width=\"100%\"\u003E\u003C\/iframe\u003E\n\n\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: x-large;\"\u003E1. Box Design\u003C\/span\u003E-\u003Cb\u003EMr Sketch wins the box design award.\u003C\/b\u003E The box opens like a standard tuck box. It is relatively simple to open. The Crayola Silly Scent box is very hard to open. There is a tab on the box which tears easily when trying to open. The also somewhat opens, but I do not think that was the intended purpose for that design. And do not get me started on the 24 count box. It takes a good five minutes just to get the crayons back in the box.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: x-large;\"\u003E2. Laydown\u003C\/span\u003E-\u003Cb\u003ECrayola has a slight edge in this category\u003C\/b\u003E. The crayon laydown is very nice and much like their other crayon products. Mr Sketch goes on thick, but may be more prone to smudges and flaking because it goes on too thick.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: x-large;\"\u003E3. There were some colors in Mr Sketch that I loved, like Vanilla, etc...but there were some I liked in the Crayola Silly Scents better. I did not like Stinky cheese from the Mr Sketch or licorice from the Crayola Silly Scents line.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: x-large;\"\u003E6. Smell\u003C\/span\u003E-\u003Cb\u003EMr. Sketch won this\u0026nbsp;category\u003C\/b\u003E. Why? I could smell the scents a lot better. But I must confess that once more than one scent was put down on both papers the scents became a little jumbled.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nOverall Mr. Sketch won the best crayon in the Mr. Sketch versus Crayola Silly Scents, but by a narrow margin. I would buy either one and your kids would love them. I can not see where these two companies take their scented crayons.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: x-large;\"\u003EBest Scented Crayon\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nNow that I have answered the winner for Mr Sketch vs Crayola Silly Scents, the best scented crayon box goes to \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.jennyscrayoncollection.com\/2015\/06\/magic-scent-lines.html\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ECrayola Magic Scents\u003C\/a\u003E from the 1990's. Why? The laydown was great, the colors were amazing, the box design was simple and the most important reason the smells were very distinct. I could smell every smell as it hit the paper. Whatever Crayola did with those crayons they need to do again.
