Crayola 200 Crayons with Colors of the World

In 2021 Crayola came out with a box of 200 crayons. Someone on Instagram asked me about it and I knew I had to get it! I went to order it and guess what? It was only available at Sam's club. What a disappointment because I do not have a Sam's Club card. I asked one of my friends to get it and she did and here it is! I wondered if there were 200 unique colors, but alas there are only 120 unique crayons. I do not understand whey they did not make this as a unique 120 box, but whatever. It is a fun box and maybe someday they can put 200 unique crayons in it.

Here is the inside of the box. They made the design of the 120 box a little wider and taller. There are 16 count sleeves and one box of 24 Colors of the World crayons.

208 Count Crayola Crayons

Up until the 1990's the largest Crayon box Crayola crayons came in was 64. That was it. During that decade the 96 count box was introduced, then then the 120 box, a 150 crayon tower and then 152 crayon box. It stayed that way for a while. Until the past few years of the 2010's and 2020's. Crayola has started making larger and larger boxes. Some of these boxes include: 200 crayons, 168 crayons, and 248 crayons. The 168 crayon box is the only box that contains unique crayons in the box. All the other boxes contain duplicates. I bought this 208 count crayon box from Crayola. It has duplicates, but contains 128 unique crayons. Basically it is a 96 count box with 16 metallic crayons and 16 construction paper crayons.

The only thing I wish was on this box is the number of crayons it contains on the front. That would make it an even better box.

What's Inside the Box

The box contains 11 crayon sleeves. There are two copies of the 16 neon crayons and three copies of the 24 crayon box and 8 colors other duplicate colors. It also contains 6 coloring pages and one sharpener. This box also contains 16 construction paper crayons, which is unique to this box. No other big box contains construction paper crayons.

Here is the crayon box with the colors sorted in color order. I love sorting them in color order because it makes it easier to see. I love how the sleeves fit in the box. I have the tubs and while they are very cute, the sleeves get a little squished.

152 Crayola Bluetiful Crayons Exclusive Edition

Have you ever organized crayons by color? This 152 Ultimate Crayola Crayon Collection would have excited me like no other when I was a child. I used to organize the 96 count box over and over and over and over! This particular set contains all the crayons from the 120 count box and the Glitter and Metallic crayons. All the crayons in this box are unique colors. It comes with a nice hard plastic carrying case/caddy and crayon sharpener. I love the plastic case because it really protects the crayons from damage. The case can be covered with plastic and set inside the box. Any kid or adult would love this set because of all the color possibilities. And it is very affordable.

This set contains bluetiful instead of dandelion. Dandelion was removed from the Crayola line up and bluetiful was added in 2017.

168 Crayola Crayon Tub Featuring Colors of the World Exclusive Collection

To say I was over the moon about the 168 Crayola Crayon Tub featuring Colors of the World Crayons is an understatement. I was over the moon times ten! I was even more excited when Crayola sent it to me after Sweet Suite before it was released in stores. It made my day times ten. Seriously whenever Crayola sends me a package its like it is my birthday or Christmas (since that is what I typically get for those holidays haha). Last birthday I got like 7 Crayola items from family...This is an honest review and I am super excited.

There is also a 240 crayon tub with the same design.

This blog post contains affiliate links.

The crayon tub is available exclusively at walmart.com right now and will be in Walmart stores exclusively 10/12/2020.

Ever since Crayola released their Pearl, Glitter, Metallic and Neon 24 count boxes I wondered if they would be incorporated into a larger crayon box. Crayola had the 150 crayon tower in 2009, then introduced the 152 ultimate crayon collection in 2013. Since the beginning of Crayola their boxes have been getting larger and larger (48, 64, 96, 120, 150, 152). There is a 200 crayon tub available, but the colors are not unique. I really hope a larger crayon box stays around because I think it would be great to include the new 24 Colors of the World crayons as standard crayons in the large crayon box.

What's In the Box

The 168 Crayola Crayon Tub Exclusive Collection features 32 specialty crayons (7 glitter, 9 metallic, 8 confetti, and 8 pearl crayons), and 24 colors of the world crayons. The Confetti crayons are a new set of crayons released in 2020 based on the past box of Color Mix-Up crayons. I already took arranged them in color order. I integrated the Colors of the World with the rest of the colors.

The box features coloring book sleeves. The sleeves are mermaid, space, cabin, unicorn, miner, ice cream mountain, alien, boom box and space themed. There is a road or a river running on each sleeve that connects with the next sleeve. There are 5 different sleeve themes and 9 sleeves in the box. The 24 Colors of the World come in their own box.

What Did I Think?

I absolutely love the tub. It is super easy to close. The lid really locks when it is closed. It is made out of sturdy material. Once the crayons are dumped out their sleeves and that ALWAYS happens with kids it is nice to have a storage container to put the crayons in. That is what happens with crayons and other supplies in our house. They stay nice for a while and eventually end up all in a container mixed together.

I think it is a great idea to have a larger crayon box. I think it would be great to have the Colors of the World crayons and the pearl, glitter, metallic and neon crayons in a large crayon box for good. I would love to have all the extra specialty crayons in a box, almost 240 crayons. Having the Colors of the World crayons with the other crayons provides kids with the opportunity to use the vibrant colors from Crayola and put themselves in whatever imaginative world they create from jungles, to woods, to tropical locations, to every day locations of school, home, vacations etc.

If the larger box sticks around I might like a crayon tower or ultimate collection type of container to store them in maybe. I am torn because I do like the tub idea because it closes and the crayons would not accidentally get spilled all over like they do with the 152 crayon crayons. I understand there are limitations with one off designs (tooling to make a new container) and a tub is easy design solution to insert different number of sleeves into. The only reason I would want a unique box is the sleeves fit inside the box tight. I fixed that by putting one sleeve up with the Colors of the World crayons.

Collecting Information
This is a great box to collect. It may be around a long time, it may be around a short time, but it is a great piece of Crayola history especially with the new Colors of the World box.

Crayola 120 Count Crayons: What's Inside the Box

Overview and Review
The 120 count Crayola box of crayons is a dream come true for any child or adult. There are so many colors inside the box. When I was young I would sort all my crayons in color order over and over again. I still love sorting crayons in color order over and over again. My kids love doing it too. I recently gave my daughter a box of 120 crayons. She even takes them outside to color with friends. I would definitely recommend sorting in color order to make it easy find the color needed. I love that these boxes have come down a lot in price too. It definitely makes them more affordable.

64 Count Crayola Crayons: What's Inside the Box

Overview and Review
When I was little girl all I wanted was a 64 pack of crayons. I ABSOLUTELY loved the color variety and the smell of the crayons. It was the biggest box available then. Even though there are larger sizes of boxes available now, the 64 count box is still a great box to get. There is enough color variation in the box to provide lots of different shades. What is even better is the box is a lot cheaper now then it was back then because there are so many larger boxes available. My daughter has had two of these boxes, this standard 64 count box and the Star Wars box of crayons. I highly recommend the 64 count box of crayons.

Crayola Special Edition 100 Count Crayons: What's Inside the Box

The year before Crayola turned 100 years, when Crayola made it's very first box of crayons, Crayola released the Special Edition 100 Crayons box.  Crayola would retired four of the five following crayons; magic mint, blizzard blue, burnt sienna, mulberry and teal blue in the Save the Shade contest.  Voters voted for the colors online on Crayola's website.  To replace the four colors that were retiring Crayola was holding a simultaneous contest Name the New Colors, where people could name the new crayon colors.  The color that was saved was burnt sienna and the new color names were jazzberry jam, mango tango, inch worm and wild blue yonder.

This box is really neat because it is a gold box, a color not used very often on boxes.  It also features a birthday cake.  A little bit of trivia is this box is actually a 96 count box stuffed with 4 crayons stuffed to make it 100.

64, 96, 120 Count Big Box Redesign

In 2014 Crayola redesigned their 64, 96 and 120 crayon boxes featuring Tip on the box.  I have to say that I absolutely love this box design!  I was not a big fan of the previous box design. This new design really embodies the spirit of Crayola and I like how they did not include the same tip character on any of the boxes.  The are all uniquely different. It reminds me of when m&m's started adding character m&m's.  Crayola first featured Tip on the Walmart boxes and 152 Crayons in 2013.
