Crayola likes to make themed boxes with coloring books. This themed set is Unicreatures and came with a giant coloring book. I will post that later. This box is a lot of fun for kids and features some great artwork. I got this on the Crayola website, but it is no longer available.
In 2018 Crayola came out with the Crayola Create and Play app. As with anything Crayola they use their boxes to advertise their other products. This particular box was available in 2018 in most stores. It is only available on resale sites now. Here is a review I did of the Create and Play app.

In the 1990-2000's Crayola let companies make custom 4 count and 6 count promotional boxes for their brands. There are many more than shown here, but here are some fun themed Crayola 4 count crayon boxes from Oscar Meyer, Mother's Banana Boat, Energizer, Chili's crayons, Joe Corbi's and Smuckers. Some of them are regular crayons some are special Crayola crayons, metallic and Techno Brite. The Chili's crayons are custom named.

What a year for Crayola! In 2021 Crayola has not only come out with new Colors of the World Colored Pencils and Markers, but they have introduced 4 new colors in the 24 Count Colors of Kindness box. I'm surprised there was not more fanfare. Last time they introduced Bluetiful they had an event in Times Square. They just slipped these colors into a new box. The Colors of Kindness box is sold exclusively at Walmart and comes with a matching coloring book.

This box is the first box of Colors of Kindness Crayons. It is definitely collectible. It is also the first time that oatmeal, cool mint, powder blue and oatmeal have been included in a box.

As part of a campaign in ...Crayola teamed up with 3M Active Strips to make a special box of crayons that were designed to look like 3M Active Strips Brights colors. The box included 6 FUN colors and 2 color 'n smell crayons. The box was attached to a box of 20 New 3M Clear Seal bandages.

In 2018 Crayola had a campaign to "Thank a Teacher" where they had a contest for a $10,000 classroom makeover. There was a special line of boxes that came out with this contest. Later that year Crayola also came out with these two boxes a special 8 count box celebrating teachers and a 64 count THANK YOU TEACHERS box! There was also a special huge 8 count box that Crayola included these crayon boxes in when they distributed them to teachers in the local Pennsylvania area. I do not have a picture of that.
In the year 1997 Crayola came out with the Crayola Discovery Limited Edition crayons. The crayons had six themes:

No. 6 Bugs
The crayons came in crayon boxes and then were put in tins. This smashed the flap of the crayon boxes. Some of the crayon tins, the space walk and the ocean boxes contained new crayon names. The others did not. Both of these tins also contained collector cards and fun activities, the others did not. The ocean boxes and the space walk boxes also contained a crayon box called Discovery Limited Edition crayons. I do not know why only these boxes got new crayons names, collector cards and special boxes. The Jungle and Desert boxes contained themed crayons. The North American and Bugs contained select crayons.

I will do the collecting information on each tin separately since there are so many of them. They all have the same UPC number. The crayon boxes used are generic 24 crayon boxes, but the colors in them are not the standard 24 crayons. The tins were made in the years 1997, 1998 and 2000.
