Jenny's Crayon Collection: Valentine's

3 Easy Preschool Valentines Activities, Target Mailboxes and Hearts and Sugar Cookies

I teach preschool for my kids. For Valentines Day we decorated some mailboxes from Target. Then we sewed some Valentines hearts and then frosted sugar cookies. Each kid had a different colored mailbox and got to pick out which stickers they wanted to use to decorate it with. I also had letter stickers to so they could put their names on them.

Here are the finished mailboxes. They all turned out so unique. The kids then put their Valentines into each of the boxes.

Here are the Valentine hearts we made. All the kids liked it. The Spritz package from Target came with lots of different colors. I have seen these hearts there this year. The needles were safe for the kid. They got got put stuffing into the hearts and decorate them how they wanted to. It was a good hand eye coordination for the kid.

After that we decorated sugar cookies. Here is the recipe. The kids all got to put on as much icing as they wanted and they got to choose the sprinkles they put on the cookies. They all turned out different.

Crayola Construction Paper: What's Inside the Package

We love Crayola construction paper at our house. My son loves to open any package he sees and spread it all over the playroom. I love it for activities for preschool and for activities in general. I love the colors that come in the pack, they are vibrant and 8 different colors, pink red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and black. We got a pack of construction paper that did not have all the colors and some kids get mad when they can not find their color. They love all the colors in this pack.

Crayola Valentine's Collection: What's Inside the Box

I first saw the Crayola Valentine's line from a fellow crayon collector. They came out in 2015. The line consists of crayons, stamper markers, and washable Glitter Glue. I was super excited when I saw someone had purchased them at Target this year. I went to the nearest Target I could find and they were all there in a display in the seasonal section. There were also My Color Is, Red, Pink and Purple markers in the display. I can not find them anywhere now so I am super excited I picked up a box. I picked up a box for my daughter too and she is super excited to use them.
