Crayola Aged Up Adult Coloring Colored Pencils and Fine Line Markers: What's Inside the Box

Crayola came out with a new line of adult coloring books and pencils and fine line markers in 2015.  Crayola advertised their large color escapes cases, 25 dollars, a little pricey for me.  They did not advertise this line of "Aged Up" colored pencils and fine line markers.  I stumbled across them in Target and Walmart.  I grabbed them up because I loved the packaging.  I love the white and colors and the vibrant colors.  I also loved the dual-ended colored pencils.  I have a packaged called blenders that I will post soon.  They are some of my favorite colored pencils.  I think the pencils in that box were closely related, a shade darker or lighter, but these ones are opposite colors that will go together well when coloring.

I also stumbled across this handy dandy chart of how to make different colors with the colored pencils on Crayola's website.  Check it out, you will not be disappointed. I can not wait to use the tips.

These fine line markers are not washable, there is a stain advisement on the back of the box. And another by the way, the name Aged Up is not on the package, but is what they are called on Target's website.

Crayola Drawing Crayon: What's Inside the Box

I received this box of Crayola Rubens Drawing crayons from a friend.  It is my oldest box of Crayola crayons.  The box is incomplete, but I love it.  I love all the little details in it and especially love the old used crayons.

This Ruben's box is from 1945. What is really neat about this box is it is one of the original boxes, but a later iteration from the early Crayola line up.  The Rubens 24 color boxes were available as early as 1906.  An iteration of this box is no longer available.  I am really happy that I have one of them, even if it is a later iteration.  There are many important items on this box.  Ruben for one and the direction he is looking, on different box iterations he was looking different ways.  This box features, Binney & Smith Company New York on it.  It has the Gold Medal symbol included.

Who was Ruben, the man printed on this box?  He was Sir Peter Paul Rubens, a "Flemish Baroque painter".

Crayola 64 Count Pip-Squeak Skinnies: What's Inside the box

Overview and Review
I absolutely love big boxes of Crayola markers and crayons and this box of Crayola Pip-Squeaks Skinnies is no exception!  They are the cutest little markers.  I love all the unique color names.  Crayola stepped away from their usual dictionary color names with the names of these markers. Cherry Tomato, Cheddar Chip, Toy Poodle, Sea Bubbles are some examples. My kids love these markers because they are all color coordinated and each one features a tip character on the front. They are also really good for adult coloring because there is so much color variation and they have thin tips.
