    I hope you can help me to remember an old crayon brand that I used in elementary school in the 50's. They were of a hard texture (perhaps chalk crayons?). They had a rounded tip and were not as vibrant as Crayola wax crayons, which were barred from use in school. I remember them packed in top opening blue and white cardboard box containing, I believe, eight colours. I started first grade in 1954 in Western Canada.
