Dream About Space with Wooden Spaceship Kit from Kid Made Modern

My kids absolutely LOVE space. During out stay at home time we have been studying astronomy. As part of the study we incorporated this kit from Kid Made Modern Wooden spaceship kit. My two year old even joined in on the fun with lots of supervision. She painted the pink one and proceeded to peel the stickers off before I get get a picture. She loved her little space ship she made.

Open Ended Winter Craft Kit by Kid Made Modern

"Kids do you want to do a winter craft project?" I asked my kids. My daughter said yes right away and my son said no. My daughter and I start on the project and who wanders over? My son. He saw all the cool supplies that came in the winter craft kit from Kid Made Modern and wanted to join in on the fun. I started taking my kids to do summer crafts at Michaels when he was three. The thing I LOVE about the Kid Made Modern kits it they come with all the supplies needed to make some great open ended crafts. When we went to Michaels to make crafts we had to make it one way, but these kits allow kids to invent and come up with whatever project they want to make.

This Winter Craft kit was provided in exchange for an honest review. This blog post contains affiliate links.

There are some ideas on the front of the box to give ideas of what to do, but the kids are free to do whatever they want!

Super Fun Confetti, Gem, Rock and Giant Crayons for Kids by Kid Made Modern

How fun do these Kid Made Modern crayons look? These are the rock crayons. There are also gem, confetti and giant crazy crayons. I tested out the standard Kid Made Modern markers and crayons and they had a diverse palette with vibrant colors and excellent lay down properties. These specialty crayons were no exception. They all colored really well and each were unique in their own way.

Here are the boxes for the gem, confetti and rock crayons. The gem crayons have a unique shape and the rock and gem crayons are confetti crayons, ie made of more than one color.

Click here to find on Amazon.

Here are the boxes for the giant crazy crayons. They come in regular neon and bright. They are a mixture of colors.
Here are all the colors for the rock crayons. They contain 2 colors each with one base color and another color sprinkled in.
Here are the confetti crayons. These crayons are ideal for blending and shading. I would use this whole palette for a picture. They look really good together.
Here are the gem crayons. They all have tips that are easy to write with.
Small kids can grip both the gem crayons and the rock crayons easily in their hands.
Here is my daughter and son coloring with the rock crayons. Can you tell what costume she is wearing?
Overall we were super happy with the crayons. These sets are super fun for kids of all ages. Their easy grip is ideal for young colorists and still fun for older kiddos. Check them out on Amazon.

We did not end up using these because I am a collector and did not want to open the package, but they would work a lot like the confetti crayons.

Kid Made Modern Color Library Crayons and Double-Pointed Markers

I was able to meet with Kid Made Modern at Toy Fair this year. I was so lucky to add a few pieces of Kid Made Modern to my website. The Crayon Library is beautiful and the Washable Double-Pointed markers come in a really neat case. I have tested other crayons before, cue the disappointment with the Andy Warhol crayons. I was really anxious to see the colors in the crayon library. What would they look like? Would their colors be as vibrant as the packaging?

Here is the pretty inside of the crayon library. So pretty!
Here is my test of the crayons. I was so happy when I colored with them. They were all super vibrant and the colors were the most part different. The laydown was super smooth and not flaky. I was impressed. The yellows were the colors that were the most similar. The colors were not named so I numbered them. They could also be labeled on the side with the corresponding number.

Here are the dual ended markers. They have a thin and thick tip. The markers are hexagonal shaped.
Here are all the colors, thick on the left and thin on the right. They all have names. I would use the thin tip side for my planner. The colors were super vibrant and colorfast.
All in all I was super happy with these products from Kid Made Modern. I will be posting about the other products soon. There were some confetti crayons and gem and rock crayons.

Here is the back and top of the boxes for the crayons and the markers.
