The Best Toys from Sweet Suite 2023

Recently I had the opportunity to go to Sweet Suite 2023 in New York City. July is super hot in NYC, and so are the toys. I saw toys from 30 to 40 companies. In this blog post I share my favorite toys from Sweet Suite.

There are so many cool balloon displays at Sweet Suite.

The first toy in no particular order is Sonic Superstars from Sega. This game takes me back to my childhood, I played it over and over and over again. I beat Sonic 2, Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles. The thing I love about Sonic Superstars is the game is 2D again. Sonic still did his spinball, but I noticed some slight differences from the other games. For example, the mile markers did not have secret worlds and when Sonic had the electricity power double jump did not make him jump twice as high. I am definitely putting this game on my Christmas list.

The next top toy was Cool Maker from Spin Master. I have been obsessed with bracelets this year. This one is perfect because there is no tying bracelets. The "beads" pop on super easy and the bracelet pops off when done.

The next favorite toy is the Giraffe from Luki Labs. The reason that this is a favorite toy is it teaches fruits and veggies in a fun way. The giraffe poops out a token and there are matching fruit and veggie cards.

Nee Doh is next on the list. This is one of the top toys because my daughter who went with me feel in love with it. Nee Doh is a great stress reliever. It comes in a lot of different forms; balls, spike balls, animales, noodles etc.

The next top toy does not come out until Quarter 1 2024, but I want one as soon as they do. It is the Rainbow Brite doll. I still have mine from the 1980's even though it is missing its dress.

The next top toy is Monopoly Prizm. The reason this toy is on the top list is because it is a trading card game and Monopoly combined. I wonder if the cards might go missing because my son would take them, but he is obsessed with sports cards right now.

Pokemon had a lot of top toys, but the Grass, Water and Fire Types books for preschoolers won this year. They are perfect for preschoolers.

The next top toy is the game Disney Trivia. I have so many Disney themed games. I am definitely putting this one on my Christmas list!

Another top toy is the Latinistas from Just Play! These dolls are super cute and I am glad they are making dolls for all different cultures.

And finally here are some friendship bracelets I made for the event and gave to some of the companies. Next year I'd love to make so many more and give them out. It is so fun to see peoples reaction when giving them a bracelet.
