This year in 2025 I had the opportunity to go to Toy Fair in New York City. I visited over 20 companies and made YouTube videos about my visits. This blog post will focus on my time at Crayola and Lego. They are two of my favorite booths to visit.

I got to meet Dan D. He came out of retirement for the year.

Here is a peak at the Crayola booth. I went behind the curtain to see the cool things coming out in 2025.

One of the coolest things is 8 crayons came out of retirement; orange red, lemon yellow, violet blue, dandelion, magic mint, raw umber, mulberry and blizzard blue. I think mulberry was one of my favorite ones they brought back.

Here is me with the PR representative from Crayola. I have known her for years and she is really nice.

Crayola release some art kits this year. I was especially excited for the neon and glitter art cases.

A very innovative product from Crayola this year is the Colourwhirls. The marker is put in the whirl and then the contraption is pulled and the color whirl is released spinning. I could see using the whirl as a base and then drawing something around it.

Here are all the packages for the whirls.

Next are the art toys. None of them are new, but are all reimagined. The paint pendulum releasing paint slowly and moves like a pendulum. The spin spiral is now only one round area. It used to be two round areas. The maker airbrush used to be the air marker sprayer. A marker is put in unit and air pushes the ink out. The marker workshop used to be the marker maker and has had a few iterations. I have the scented marker maker. Crayola provides ink and a sheet to make different colors. Ink is placed in a container and the marker sponge wicks it up. It is then snapped into place in the marker and works like a regular marker.

I have a lot hate relationship with goo like most parents do. I would buy this set for my kids. Kids can shape the goo, add embellishments to the goo and make the goo different colors.

The scribble scrubbie has a been a hit since it was released. This year there are even more characters including paw patrol and bluey.

Crayola color wonder is great for parents that do not want the marker mess in the home. there are kits and then light up stampers that have ink in the palette that can only be seen on certain paper. It reacts with the chemicals in the paper.

Here is the preschool line of Crayola art products.

Here are all the colored pencils, markers and crayons. The pastel colors are a new addition this year. I have not seen the metallic very much either.

Here are all the painting supplies and model magic.

Here are some of the coloring books.

Here are the adult coloring books. The pages in the coloring books are thick pages and there are cute designs. They have two lines, an adult coloring book like and an art with edge line. They even have a stranger things art with edge.

Here are some of the adult coloring supplies. They are not really the best. The color palette in each is limited and the paint markers are hard to activate. Here are all the giant coloring books and construction paper.

Here are all the creative gifts. There are some light up tracing pads, Pokémon sets and all the scribble scrubbies.

He is the Color Wonder area.

Crayola is coming up with their own line of building bricks.

It's always a fun day to visit Crayola. I forgot to take a picture of the cookie, but it was delish.

The next place to visit was Lego and they went all out. They created their own central park at Toy Fair.

There was a cool stand to pose at.

There were beautiful botanicals everywhere.

And lots of places to relax. They even had bird and other nature sounds in the background. I do not know how they will top this next year. I hope they bring it back.

Here is my friend ColorVally.

We got to meet a famous wrestler.

And I got to meet Joey Fantone from N'Snyc at & Juliet.

Toy Fair was exhausting. I can't wait for next year!
