16 Count Holiday Crayola Crayons: What's Inside the Box

Crayola came out with a whole holiday set of products in the late 90's early 2000's. I have the holiday markers, but I do not have the 8 count glitter crayons. This 16 count Crayola Holiday crayon box contains 8 standard crayons and 8 metallic crayons. Metallic crayons came out the year before in 2000. They were called the Holiday box because of the inclusion of the metallic crayons, that were slightly glittery. Other than that the colors are pretty standard, not only reds, greens, silvers and golds. The markers only contain reds and greens.

Crayola 8 Count Boxes

Here are the classic 8 count Crayola boxes. The 8 count box has been around for over 100 years, with the first box appearing at the 1904 world fair in St. Louis. The difference between the two boxes shown below is one of them, the one on the left is a tuck box and the one on the right has a hanging tag at the top. For school one year my daughters back to school list specified a 24 count tuck box. I had no idea what a tuck box was until then. But now I know.

Crayola 24 Colored Pencils: What's Inside the Box

Crayola classic colored pencils have been around for years. This set is ideal for teachers and parents. The size of the box gives enough variety while still maintaining an inexpensive price point. I have two other boxes that I've had for years and I will post them soon. This box is from 2016. The colors in the colored pencils have not changed, but the design on the wood has. It has always had gold lettering and the names on the individual pencils which I love.

I received this box from Crayola in exchange for an honest review, this blog post contains affiliate links.
