Crayola-Target Multicolor Poptimism Set: Crayons, 64 Pip Squeak Skinnies, 64 Colored Pencils, 64 Chalk, 64 Markers

I found out about the Crayola Mulitcolor Poptimism set on Instagram. The boxes are designed specifically for Target and located in the seasonal section. It fits in really well with the rest of the Target seasonal summer section. They are labeling it as a special edition. There are a lot of bold and rainbow colors on the boxes. I bought the crayons and colored pencils, because I did not want to spend the money for the other sets even though they are really cool boxes. I have a hard time buying sets of other art supplies besides colored pencils and crayons that do not have unique colors in them. One is storage space and the other is the expense. Check out these sets at Target, I have a feeling they will only be around for a while!

What is Poptimism? Poptimism is the rise of pop in the 2000 and 2010's as a dominant music form taking on the same significance as Rock N Roll.

64 Count Crayola Washable Sidewalk Chalk: What's Inside the Box

Crayola came out with the 64 Crayola Washable Sidewalk Chalk this year in 2017.  I found it while I was wandering the aisles of Target.  It was a relatively cheap price of 9.99 compared to that of 64 markers.  I picked it up right away.  Crayola has never made a box of chalk this big.  They have been making a 48 count box for several years now, but this is the first time for one so big.  They were able to get to 64 colors by adding Glitter, Glitter Neon, Neon, and Tie Dye. The color names are listed on all the individual chalk pieces.  It is so fun to know the color of chalk when coloring. The chalk come packaged in plastic, so it doesn't break apart and packed like a box of crayons. I will probably save this one for myself and get my kids this box when the other box of 48 is all used up.

Disney Themed Sidewalk Chalk: What's Inside the Box

I found the 8 count Crayola Disney themed sidewalk chalk first at Target. They only carried the Hulk version of the longest time.  I picked up the Captain America chalk at the Crayola Store. It is super crazy that stores do not carry an entire line of a collectible product. I am still missing a marker in the Pip-Scents collection because it was never sold in the United States. I do not know if there are any other 8 count chalk boxes out there.
Sidewalk chalk is an essential outdoor play toy for kids.  The chalk is bright and colorful and themed to the different character sets. My kids and the neighbor kids stay engaged for a long time with the chalk.

Crayola Neon 3D Sidewalk Chalk: What's Inside the Box

I have had one box of Crayola 3D sidewalk chalk before. I have not put it up here yet, it had chalk crayons in it too.  It was a lot of fun to use.  We drew all over the sidewalk and it really looked 3D.  Special chalk is needed, just the glasses to make it 3D.  It is a lot of fun for kids to play with.  Be warned, get a set of glasses for each kid that wants to use it.

4 Count Crayola Washable Sidewalk Chalk Character Themed Chalk: What's Inside the Box

I found the Crayola character themed 4 count side walk chalk at the Crayola Store in Kansas City.  I love the different themes, Avengers, Minions, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Frozen.  These character chalks feature colors that can be used to draw the character. The colors are very accurate to the chosen character they represent. The funny thing about the Frozen chalk is I thought I had bought it, and even looked at it in the store, but when I got home, I realized I had two Minions sidewalk chalk.  I hope the Frozen one is available when I go back.

I fell in love with the Crayola Glitter Washable Sidewalk chalk the first time I saw it. And when it went on sale at the end of the season I picked up two boxes, one for me and one for my kids to use this spring and summer.  I can not wait til it gets warm and we can go outside and use it.  The box is really nice for collecting and the colors come in clear plastic wrap making it very easy see the colors, but also collect them and look at them.

5 Count Crayola Tie Dye Washable Sidewalk Chalk: What's Inside the Box

I fell in love with the Crayola Tie Dye Washable Sidewalk the first time I saw it. The chalk is a combination of colors and has a very hippy feel to it. 48 Count Crayola Washable Sidewalk Chalk: What's Inside the Box

We love Crayola sidewalk chalk around our house. I loved this big box of colors, I always say the more the better. My kids opened a box last summer and we are still using it. It lasts forever. The colors are super vibrant. Other sidewalk chalk will only last one day. This has survived birthday parties and lots of fun afternoons.

4 Count Crayola Build Your Box Chalk: What's Inside the Box

I feel in love with the Crayola Build Your Box chalk when I first saw it at Walmart. It is very similar to the Pick Your Pack Boxes crayon boxes sold at Target. Each box features a fun theme with colors coordinating with that theme. On the back of the boxes it says, "These collectible Sidewalk Chalk packs have specially selected colors with vibrant themes to jumpstart your imagination.  Mix and match packs to make your own custom color combinations...then head outside to create some BIG TIME outdoor art!"

I think Crayola intended for collectors to want to collect this item because of what they said on the back, "collectible".  I do not know of many people who have collected it and barely decided to myself. I did not buy this chalk at first because of the high price point, and I did not have a lot of chalk collected.  I later saw it at the Crayola Store in Kansas City and then at JoAnn Fabrics and Michaels.  I bought it when there was a sale making it about $.75 instead of $1.50.  It is kind of hard to store chalk since it is so wide.  I keep it in a smaller storage box that is about the width of the box.
